Every spring, we shear our 'boys' and their luxurious coats are sent away for processing into yarn.  Caspar, Lucky, Reggie, Spatz and Marco are glad to be of service and get a summer haircut to boot.

Their fibre is processed by Custom Woolen Mills in Carstairs, Alberta. CWM produces top quality yarn for knitting, weaving and felting.

Alpaca is a wonderful fibre with some appealing advantages.  Our lopi yarn is 70% alpaca and 30% merino wool yielding a strong, resilient, cozy and richly coloured product.  Luxurious handknitted or woven items such as lush blankets, toasty socks and classically styled garments will last for generations to come.  As well, our lopi is environmentally sound and made from a renewable resource.
